Hello!
My name is Stella, I’m a visual storyteller and multimedia creator whose work brings real moments, people, and communities into focus. My storytelling blends photography, video, and digital media to create visuals that resonate with diverse audiences and reflect the lived experience of the people I meet.
My journey has taken me from covering major events and public affairs to working with editorial teams, local campaigns, non-profit organizations, and freelance clients. I’ve documented national figures, community movements, and everyday stories; always with an emphasis on trust, empathy, and honest representation. Whether I’m behind a camera in a newsroom, on location for a publication, or in collaboration with a client, I approach each project with curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to craft.
Beyond capturing images, I’m interested in how visuals connect with audiences and elevate narrative impact. I combine technical skill with an intuitive approach to storytelling, striving to create work that is both thoughtful and meaningful. My goal is to continue growing in documentary-style photography, video production, and multimedia storytelling.
When I’m not making visuals, you’ll find me exploring new creative ideas, going on photo walks, playing video games, experimenting in the kitchen, or diving into a great story — whether it’s through film, writing, or a favorite comfort show. I’m always open to new collaborations, opportunities, and conversations, so let's connect!

My Story
I grew up balancing Midwest roots with Balkan heritage. A mix that shaped my worldview and my storytelling instincts. I’ve always believed that powerful stories deserve dedication, not shortcuts. I’m someone who will put in the long hours, do the hard work, and keep digging until the story is told right.
My path in journalism has already taken me through fast-paced newsrooms, field shoots, and editorial planning sessions, but I’m far from finished. I’m excited to see where the world of news and freelance will take me. While I enjoy the urgency of breaking news and the weight of political reporting, I thrive when covering culture, arts, business, and lifestyle: the stories that reveal who we are beyond the headlines.
Outside the newsroom or studio, I recharge by spending time with my family, watching my comfort shows, making homemade meals, and late-night video game marathons. My creative process is fueled by caffeine, and a strong sense of purpose. These things help fuel my curiosity and keep me grounded as I continue building a meaningful, multi-dimensional career in media.
